This isn't gobbledygook.
It's A Twitter resume.
The free, social-networking site (www.twitter.com), founded in 2007, allows users to update their connections on what they're doing in 140 characters or less.
That includes a very, very succinct job hunt.
Hey, as the recession dramatically increases unemployment, it's good to use all channels to network. Think of Twitter as a kind of "living resume," suggests the blog at Liberate Media, an online PR firm based in London:
• You can show your background, experience, interests, contact information and link to a Web site showing your work.
• You can connect with specific people and companies.
• You can promote your Twitter profile on the Web through the Twitbacks application.
• You "could target specific brands and then use the @ functionality to wow the recipient with useful knowledge, insight and ideas, making you an ideal candidate for the next vacancy," the firm wrote.
BusinessWeek featured a hilarious fake Twitter resume from Apple CEO Steve Jobs: dude, I invented the friggin iPhone. Have you heard of it
As always, don't tweet anything you wouldn't want an employer or contact to see.
