Gaza war tweets from Israeli Consulate

Ubiquitous microblogging service Twitter is once again making political news today with the announcement that the Consulate General of Israel in New York will hold a "Citizen's Press Conference" today. David Saranga, Consul of Media and Public Affairs, will be taking questions about the situation in Israel and Gaza via Twitter, and anything that requires more than Twitter's 140 SMS-friendly characters will be posted to the Israel Consulate's blog.

The conference is set to run from 1-3pm EST, but the consulate's Twitter account, twitter.com/IsraelConsulate, is already active and responding to questions.
